An antique row crop cultivator parked in front of the barn at the Laguna. It's function was to hoe weeds. It is a two row model which is unusual...most were one row. This was made by Planet Jr probably in the 1920s. Their colors were blue. Lots of people associate green with John Deere obviously, but unless you are looking at a museum piece the original paint is probably gone, or repainted by someone possibly incorrectly. There is another setting there next to it that is the same model, different color (more original paint). Planet Jr made a ton of garden tools and walk-behind horse tools mostly for the truck (vegetable) farmers.
